It’s probably just the nature of 60 FPS vs 30 FPS. 60 FPS is a lot smoother so you can yaw faster without it looking jerky. Same concept as old moviesBecoming familiar with the new birdie.
Amazing!
Anyone else notice how your bird handles differently in the air when your video is set to 30FPS vs. 60FPS.
At first I thought it had to do something with the obstacle avoidance or APAS.
But ****, flying in 60FPS I'm noticing the "trim" isn't as sensitive.
Dumb it down to 30FPS and boom, A LOT more control at the sticks.
60FPS is like plowing a square shopping cart through the sky.
30FPS is like a Ferrari.
Is this just me???

He isn’t actually moving at light speed it just seems like it due to the low frame rate.
I probably should have explained my inquiry a little better, so my apologies.
What I'm observing while flying in Normal mode - with 30 Frames Per Second 1080p chosen in the video settings - the Yaw is MUCH more sensitive.
The nose of the AC actually dips into the turns - with a little more get up. Turns on a dime.
While still in Normal mode, change the Frame Rate to 60FPS/1080. Noticing the bird isn't as nimble. And doesn't maneuver as easily. It behaves a little differently.
Not saying this is problem at all.
More of an observation on how the camera interacts with the props - dictating how tight your turns will be - depending on your video settings.
Pretty Cool!
Dawg, I was wrong. Initially, it was thought the video settings dictated the flight sensitivity of the MA2.What if you are in video mode but not recording? You're saying the drone flies differently simply because recording is active? Haven't noticed this at all, but I'll try to experiment the next time I go flying.

It's ACTUALLY the APAS option.
With more flights under my belt, I'm enjoying the APAS maneuverability more and more.
The bird turns on a dime - in Normal mode.
Tripod not so much.
Sport Mode - different animal...
