App for Wind Speed at various heights?

Thank you, downloaded and it works.
The app is only showing you a forecast, not the actual wind speed.
There are several reasons why it could be quite different from the actual wind where you are.

@MTP as others have said t it is only a forecast based on lots of data
and wind can be different at differing heights as well ,also it can change direction depending on the ground topography ,it is vary rarely a constant ,actual gusts, are the worse kind of wind to encounter as they can suddenly catch the drone out and they can confuse the barometer as the air pressure changes

Thank you for that info, just good to know the app does work - Where I reside its flatland, with moderate hills, a 90 year old could climb them comfortable :)

As everyone else said..those winds are the forecast winds interpolated for the altitudes where we fly. Take em wit a grain of salt. Airports report and forecast surface winds. Wind aloft forecasts start at 3000 AGL. It hasn't been all that long since those winds were forecast using balloons.
Hey....MT....Just noticed...Welcome to the forum from the sunny and sometimes very windy deserts of Southern California! :)
