App providing nearby flight information

I think I read somewhere here about an app you could open for information about a nearby flight when you get a warning on the controller, like location directio, altitude, etc. Does such an app exist?

Flightradar24. iOS App Store. I use it all the time. Not all aircraft provide a signal, mainly small craft. But most all large aircraft are visible.

2nd that suggestion. Great app. Amazing to watch larger airport traffic with it. Won’t show military aircraft as I guess they use a different transponder.

I took issue with FR24. They won't recognize a class D regional airport near me because it doesn't have a particular type of designation code. It's not a commercial passenger plane destination, but it does host commercial flights of some major companies, and even the Coast Guard seems to fly their beast props to that airport.

Besides most of the planes I care knowing about never show up. I've had more luck with FlightAware.
