I use my iPad Air 4 with my previous Air 2 and now with my Air 2S , No problems what so ever, just make sure that you get a proper connection cable about 30 cm or 12 " long usb C - usb C , some of them don't work. Also DJI don't support the iPad Air, I find it very strange it us the same iOS ad the iPad Pro latest version . Good luck and safe flying...
