Standard aerial photography is easy enough, if you are in the right place at the right time, look at the light and compose the subject. Recently I have been trying to find some patterns from the air, I have had ideas from ground level which haven't turned out as I had hoped in reality from the air. Low lighting angles help I think, to give more shape to the ground. I did these two the other day, which are my most successful. I shall revisit this area and see what else I can find, the battery was shrieking at me to land and it was my last one.
I missed the turning leaves because I was away. I have found a patch of rocks which I think will be worth exploring, I must find out where and when the sun hits them. This is a long learning process to recognise pattern pictures.
