I just downloaded and installed 2.0.7. The new version of the app installed successfully, but it left the old version installed, too. I now have two entries in my Start menu:

DJI Assistant 2 (the old version)
DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic (the new version)

DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic now opens properly on my Windows 10 PC. I haven't had a chance yet to actually do anything with it, but I no longer get blocked by that security prompt.

These are actually 2 different versions for different aircraft types:
Assistant 2 = Mavic Pro, Mavic Air and many more ('older' type of equipment)
Assistant 2 for Mavic is only for Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom and Enterprise

On my Windows 10 PC, the app named "DJI Assistant 2" (the old version 1.0.7, without the "for Mavic") is still blocked by the red security flag when I try to run it.

If what you say is true, then there is still no version of DJI Assistant 2 for the Mavic Air that will run on Windows 10 without being blocked by Windows security.

Is this true? If so, then us Mavic Air owners are still left out in the cold.

Not only Mavic Air users, also Inspire 2, M100, M600 etc. are affected.
I assume that we can expect an updated version soon. (But as always with DJI, don't hold your breath)

This makes complete sense...because I loaded both and only Assistant 2 (and not the one for Mavic) will recognize my MPP when I plug it in. A2 for Mavic does not recognize the device at all.
