Hi flyers!
Ok.. I bought a used Mavic Pro platinum and I have managed a factory reset of the done.
However.. when I connect to my wifi AND then plug in the drone I get a message 'unidentified network'. This then kills my wifi and either still shows the wifi as running (triangle strength ok) but not.. or a ' drawn square with a yellow "flag" ie.. problem with my wifi.
Either way.. this stops the update/ refresh.
Unplug the usb.. back to mormal!
Any thoughts appreciated! ?

I'd hotspot your phone and connect the pc to it to finish the refresh

Cheers guys. From your responses it sounds like my wi fi is not impressed somehow! Will try by other means ... fingers crossed!

Remember always have a full Mavic and phone battery before doing a refresh as you don't want a disconnect while it's updating

Right! Problem resolved and thanks for your input.
1. Connected ethernet cable .. so not using WiFi.
2. Connected drone and controller... as per flying.
3.connected drone to laptop via USB.
4. Opened Assistant 2.
5. Accepted all 4 requests from DJI.. (reluctantly).
6.with both batteries full.. started the 'refresh/upgrade' to latest version.
7. Went through 3 procedures.. download ..transmission ..install.
Happy with that.. hope the info may help someone else!
Hope the New Year sets off with a flying start for you all.
