Hello again, I have one more question about Air 2S Dji assistant 2. When I go to update the Drone or the RC do I have to have the Drone or RC turned on when I plug it into my computer
Thanks oman
If it helps, via a PC and assistant 2, I have updated a mavic 2 pro and its controller with ONLY the device being updated switched on. ie drone switched on, connected, updated, switched off and disconnected then the controller switched on, connected, updated, switched off and disconnected ...... I do not think the order of updating matters so you could do the controller first if that suits you.
From memory the controller shows the message "connecting".
When updating the drone I had a fan blowing air over it and the drone was on landing extenders.

Plug in first, then when connected, switch on.
Switch off before disconnect.
Assistant 2 will find the device when it has been switched on.
The update order does matter.
Controller first then the drone. The battery will update automatically when the drone is being updated.
