ATOMOS ninja as field monitor

Hello, anyone tried to use an ATOMOS ninja, (I have a ninja V), as field monitor? The iphone has lower nits, and I don't want to buy a crystalsky or a a smart controller. Do you think it is possible? thanks

You need a HDMI or SDI signal to be fed to your Ninja.
With the Mavics you only have the CrystalSky and the SmartController that have HDMI out.
Only with these Monitors (actually tablets with a bright display), you can attach your Ninja Monitor.

IMHO get an SC or CS - you are good to go.
