Avata 2 Find My Drone issue

I hit a small branch while flying avata 2 through a snow covered forest, about 800 feet away from me. Turtle mode didn’t work. So I prepared for a slog through the snow for a rescue mission.

When I fired up the find my drone, it mapped a location several miles away, where I had previously flown a couple weeks ago.

A blind search of the general area didn’t have a positive out come.

Any ideas on this? I’ll be reaching out to customer service for an explanation.

Why not take a look at the TXT flight log instead? That should get you a lot closer than walking around blindly.
