How many batteries is too many?

I didn't mean all batteries, but per drone model. For instance, I have 5 batteries each for my A3S and 5 for the Mavic 4 Pro. I'm not a pro and don't regularly fly my drones. Are 5 batteries each enough or are they just going to degrade due to lack of use if say I increased to 7, 8 or 10 per drone. I'm primarily flying the Mavic 4 Pro more than the A3S so it may not make sense to purchase more batteries for the A3S. For the limited flying I'm doing, perhaps there are others out there like me, does it make sense for me to order more batteries for the Mavic 4 Pro considering in the next year or two there may be a Mavic 5 Pro and so on.
