Yes and i was catching some very high winds . had windows popping up on my screen.

I used to live in Scottsdale, and I did a lot of fishing at Bartlett Lake (even some sailing with a Laser II) and did a LOT of camping in the areas around or near the lake. It's nice to see it full of water now after the summer monsoons.

we were going to stop at Horseshoe lake But they had it closed. it was showing at 39% full at Horse shoe and 60 % at Bartlett. they are draining horse shoe as fast at the water comes in.

Yeah, Horseshoe was always the "flex" lake. I can remember it sometimes getting drained completely, which I guess makes sense since Bartlett is the primary recreation lake on the Tonto.

People used to catch some truly huge catfish just below the Horseshoe dam.

I did not notice till afterwards the coloring was off.
