Batteries not draining automatically?

So want to know what other people are seeing with their batteries after long period of sitting unused. I have not used batteries for a long period of time (one over 10 days) and yet the battery still remains at 75% charged and hasn't changed from that over the last 4 days. I setup my batteries to discharge after 5 days in the DJI go app.

1) how quickly are the batteries to drain down once you reach the days set in the DJI Go App? I was expecting them to drain down completely in like a week?
2) if you set the setting in the DJI go app of say drain after 5 days, do you need to do that for each battery installed in the Mavic 1 at a time separately or is it a setting applied to the battery as soon as you "plug it into" the mavic once and power up?
3) should I be concerned my batteries are going on two weeks with a fairly fully charge of 3/4 or more?

I have 4 batteries and it is winter with little use of the Mavic for the next few months.

Thanks

1. They do not drain down completely, they drain down slowly over days to about 40% ish.
2. I was told that you have to do it for each battery but if I go into settings with a different battery the previous value is there so conflicting info and do not have time to test further a the moment.
3. Unless there is something inherently wrong with the discharge process I think you are fine. The batteries will discharge slowly over x days until they get to around 40%

One thing you are probably missing and that is that every time you hit the button to check the status you are actually resetting the idle timer, meaning that it will start to count down the 5 days again before it discharges further.

It depends on the current charge level of the battery. It can take up to 2-3 days to discharge a battery down to the 65% storage level.

Yes. You should also reset the setting after installing new firmware on your batteries.

If you stop pressing the battery button to check them, they will discharge. Let them alone ;)

Thanks for the info, clearly I was resetting them and I had no idea checking the status would do so. I have 4 batteries and given the weather that lies ahead, any issue in just letting them sit untouched for say 2-3 months? Or do I need to do some conditioning during this period.
