I'm new to this and was reading the batteries should not be left fully charged for an extended period. I was wondering what the best way to discharge them is?

Or, if you have the multifunction hub, use it as a power bank and charge your phone/tablet.

The only problem is that the hub discharges the batteries all the way, one battery at a time.

Hanatora does make one with the option to discharge to 50%. It will work in the car. Amazon has it for most DJIdrones.
Of note: on regular 110-120v wall plug it will charge 4 batteries from <20% to full charge in 70-90 minutes.
Love mine... using it for about a year.

Its a good method. I just keep an eye on it and when each batter is run down to one light in the charging hub I take the battery out and let it move on to the next one. I think if you leave some charge in each battery its better than none.
