Battery not working at all - full charge

Hi,

I have a battery that is fully charged. When I power up with it in the mavic.. nothing happens but the 4 battery lights stay on.

There is a youtube video (not mine) that matches my problem here.
Is this something I can fix or is this likely a warranty issue?

That happened to me initially, when a software update went wrong.
You just need to reflash your Mavic and each of your batteries.

I heard that as part of the new version there was a software upgrade to the batteries.
I havent tried myself. Im sticking with the good old .400 firmware

How can you reflash the battery since the mavic will not power up with that battery in there?

Is that the only battery you have mate?

Well, you got a point, if the battery itself doesnt turn on the craft you might have an issue.

You can try to power on and off the battery without it having it installed in the craft.
have you try that?

I do have another battery but doesn't the problem battery have to be in the mavic in order to refresh the battery software via DJI assist?

The other battery works OK right now.

Just start a support ticket with DJI. They will have you try something and probably tell you to return it for a replacement. I have returned two already.

You could check if the connections underneath are all present.
If it's not connecting with no load it won't be sensible to fly with it, even if poking the contacts somehow made it start the Mavic..
I suspect something has come adrift inside.
