battery problem

I have 3 Mavic Air (1) batteries:
A 2019-1 49 charges
B 2018-6 47 charges
C 2018-6 58 charges

With battery A I experienced a low battery alarm just after take off.
Returned home and made checked that all firmware were updated with 3 batteries.

Field test again:

Battery A was a little bit swollen

Yeah ... battery A have due to age, storage or use ... or a combination of all, developed a really high internal cell resistance which leads to huge voltage drops during amp draw. The high internal resistance is also indicated by looking at the battery temp difference between A & B.

This in combination with the swelling ---> take it off flight duty before you lose your MA1.

That's really all you needed to say...and I would have bet that Battery A was "end of life".

yes, maybe the 2019 batch was poorer than the 2018 one...
I always rotated A-B-C batteries & charged with DJI multi charger.

Charge cycles have a very small impact on the wear on lithium batteries compared to what you can cause by not taking care of them properly during use & storage.

Let them either lay around totally empty or fully charged for weeks on end on a regular basis, let them over heat either during use or in storage & heavily abuse them with high amp draw either when it's over or under specified working ambient temps ... these batteries will have very few charge cycles when they can't perform anymore.
