Hi guys, a newcomer to this forum, about to take my Mavic Air for it's maiden major trip. I'm heading to Tasmania for a 9-day holiday and as far as I understand, National Parks are a strict no-no, but it appears that I'm also not allowed to fly in conservation/reserved areas like Bay of Fires, is that right? It would be a bit of a shame as I'll be spending a night in Binalong Bay region. Also, is there a weird loophole where you're allowed to fly over these areas as long as you don't take-off and land within the boundaries, or is that just BS?
Lastly, for those of you living in Tassie or have been there on holidays, any recommended sites where I can legally fly the Mavic and capture some shots? We'll be spending 3 nights in the Hobart region, a couple of nights along the east coast, and finish up with another 3 nights in the Launceston region. Thanks in advance.
