Davinci Resolve is excellent and free but does take a decent PC to run well and isn't the easiest. Well worth a look though.

On1 software have announced the launch of a new editing system from them, sometime in November. It is aimed at the Drone filmer also and is supposed to remove the learning curve other editing systems have. Keep your eyes on On1 for the launch and see if that works for you. Their photo editing software is excellent, so I am hoping their video programme will be equally as good.
