Hi everyone,

I’ve been exploring AI-powered image editing tools and I’m curious which ones deliver the best results for professional-quality work. I’m particularly interested in features like background removal, style transfer, retouching, and realistic enhancements.

Ease of use and speed are also important since I often work with large batches of images. I’ve tried a few free tools, but the results sometimes look unnatural or over-processed.

Has anyone had experience with AI editors that balance automation and control effectively?

Recommendations, tips, or workflow suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check out Topaz Labs: topazlabs.com. They've been building the repertoire of products and capabilities, getting stronger ever week.

My own two penn'orth? AI takes every scrap of skill and artistry out of photography and makes anyone who has taken the time and trouble to learn the Art of photography and manual post processing redundant.

With AI: individual style and interpretation is dead, replaced with generic, bland machine generated pap that returns imagery which is nowhere near what the original image looked like.

If you've got a crap photograph: look at it, learn from it and alter your methodology to compensate... it's called 'getting better as a result of practise and trial and error'.

If you want a simile: look at how chatbots have replaced considered thought and careful research... numerous examples on this forum of people cut-and-pasting auto-generated babble in place of their own opinions based on a wide reading of source material.

I hate it with a venom.
