Best screen / device for the mini

I been using my blackberry key2, which ideally isn't appropriate especially with the keyboard taking 1/4 of the screen.

So I been looking at mounts for mounting my Samsung tablet, or possibly get some 2nd hand phone for just using with the mini.

So any suggestions on what others are using would be great to hear for some ideas.

I've got the Ipad Mini 5 and it fits in the jaws of the controller. You will probably need a longer Lightning cable.

My iPad mini 5 fits nicely into the controller also . I got the connecting wire from Amazon. I don't think that it has a gps sensor (it's a no service iPad mini) so I don't have the location icon at the bottom of the screen of the Dji fly app. Flies fine though without that.

While I'm not a Apple person, I believe that the 4 and 5 have the same dimensions. At this point I don't recall if the included DJI very short cable makes but too tightly or is just too short. Perhaps if oriented in Portrait mode.
