I have both of them but use only the Thor V3

You know this is an awesome holder... I see it as an alternative when you don't need to pack that in a bag for a plane.

I have this generic mount from ebay. Works without any issues and is cheap. I don’t get it how people can justify spending 10x more for mav mount even though it does the same just looks better. Although it appears mav mount is on sale now, so it might be a good option.
