Best Tape for battery terminals?

I’m preparing for a trip to Oregon on Alaska Airlines, and while I can meet all of their requirements for transporting batteries, I would like to know what kind of tape should be used to cover my Mavic 2 Pro battery terminals?

Is there a type that leaves less residue, or that anyone here swears by? Thanks.

Use painters tape. Paper is a good insulator and leaves no residue.

If you are carrying them in a case I’ve never had AK Airlines even open my drone case to check. It’s ho-hum to them.

I have always used the easy on easy off painters tape. In more than 120 TSA travel events no one has ever looked! I have been asked things like “ What drone are you flying? “ often followed by “That’s great- enjoy”. I guess as a 76 year old with a slight limp I don’t raise much suspicion.
