Where is that from and did you have to cut foam or did it come set.up?

Just a little note, foam is great at keeping in moisture, so dry off your aircraft completely before storing it in a foam case. I purchased a great looking one off of alibaba express for $25, a semi hard shell like my mini.

It can corrode the parts inside so you wouldn’t even know you have corrosion, and the last thing you want on a capacitor, it will slowly degrade even the new flat ones.

You get what you pay for. I'm not looking to skimp on protecting my drone. It's a fragile aircraft.

I got the GPC case and I'm very happy with it. Build quality and the level of protection that it gives are both outstanding.

The Apache cases are as good or better than anything else I have seen. I bought 4 of the 3800's yesterday for $29 each at Harbor Freight with a current coupon. It's possible their IP-65 water tight rating isn't quite as good as it should be as my test did show they can leak, I have only tested 1 and haven't tested the other brands. They are pretty rugged though and the latches seem very beefy along with everything else.

The 2800 series will fit too, haven't finished this one though, still need to cut and apply the foam.

I bought the Nanuk 915. While it fits everything from the Fly More Combo I really wanted to be able to fit my iPad mini, especially since everything plus the iPad mini fit in the carry bag from DJI.

The two slots on the right, one for the charger, one for the extra props are wider than needed. I reclaimed some of the space to fit my iPad mini.

This is just a Photoshop mock-up, I ordered a blank new insert for the 915 and waiting for it to be delivered.

A mixture of the Kaizen hot knife kit, Kaizen xacto kinfe's, normal and thin, and a lot of patience.

I'm using my case to make stencils of all the cutout shapes.

No, I designed and printed a custom framework on my 3D printer that I then glued 13mm foam to. It comes with the pluck foam which doesn't retain it's contour after a little use without doing something to it.
