I would be concerned that my drone would collect too much dust while in the open. I like the protection of the drone case. Its a hanger (sorry, not a hangar) and it's made by the same fellow who makes the laminated preflight checklists. It probably takes him 2 hours to make each one, so thats why the price is what it is, but I just thought it was a cool idea. I have seen countless people hanging their Phantoms, now you can hang your Mav. I have one coming in the mail and will let everyone know which drones it fits. The picture is of a Mavic 2, so the company is obviously thinking ahead. It looks like it will fit the MP and MPP.
Here's his website and a picture. The latest version will have a slip proof foam pad on the pedestal. My only recommendation is to use a level with bubble when mounting it to make sure the controller pedestal is horizontal to the ground:

I like it to and I want to order one.Good question for @BIOLUMINOUS
I like the wrap he used. Looks like good quality and high visibility.

I want the wrap not the hanger but it's nice too.Good point. I think the hanger would be good for alot of guys like me who like to "grab it and go" especially with all this rain we have been getting. The minute that the raindrops stop, Im out flying.

Uh, yes. Along with the Heat Press too. Oh and I forgot about the hope chest she moved from the living room where she now has a play corner for the grandbaby. OH and wait, she had a table in the bathroom to do makeup on that has been repurposed to a cutting table and it takes up one whole corner of the studio as well.I gotta ask, did the wife make you put the vinyl cutter in the man cave?

I have the orange Wrapgrade skin on my M2P and it really doesn’t help seeing it because it’s so small anyway. But from about 150 yards away you can see it better. How hard was it to install the wrap? Can you see the orange good at a distance?
Well the really sad thing is I have a 28 x 30 shop out back but half of that is filled with stuff from the pool that was just tossed in right before the hurricane last year and has yet been cleaned up. Which this weekend that is going to change.
If you store it without the gimbal lock in place, I guess there's the lightest of downward force on the rubber suspension, but we are talking grams, I don't think extended storage in any position would affect the rubber suspension - the gimbal assembly doesn't seem heavy enough to stretch it out. What about the load on the gimbal and plate?
You know, I can 3D print a smaller rhino head for you - then you can have both!I wanna to hang one on my wall too but my wife said I had to take down the rhino head 1st. I guess I'll have to hang the mavic in the grand ballroom.
I wouldn’t think that it would effect the gimbal assembly anymore than when you’re flying. That’s more stress than hanging it upside down. Plus it has rubber mounts that absorb the shock when you’re flying so....If you store it without the gimbal lock in place, I guess there's the lightest of downward force on the rubber suspension, but we are talking grams, I don't think extended storage in any position would affect the rubber suspension - the gimbal assembly doesn't seem heavy enough to stretch it out.
The mount would hold up well outside. Just FYI. Not sure about the drone though. My wife said I could hang it anywhere I wanted to..... as long as it wasn't in the house.
Here’s my M2P with the Wrapgrade orange vinyl skin. Not quite as much orange on it but I didn’t want to cover the entire thing. How hard was it to install the wrap? Can you see the orange good at a distance?
Well, it took a while to install the wrap. You have to clean the surface, apply each piece, heat with hair dryer, press down. It's an afternoon project. Against the Seattle grey skies it shows up much better now.How hard was it to install the wrap? Can you see the orange good at a distance?
I think I got it from SlickWraps. It matched the large roll of 3M vehicle wrap I have and I used tiny strips to fill in the spaces where the SlickWraps didn't cover. I wanted to make the family car bright orange too. Wife said no. I mean, what it the issue? (I say that that in my head, not out loud.)I was actually responding to @RedSoxFan42
Im sure that when @BIOLUMINOUS has a moment, he will tell you where he got the wrap from.
