Nice video, big difference between seasons! This would be a great place to do waypoints, then use same points in different season. Giving you same flight path in summer and winter.

Not my video but I think it looks good to make like this if you live in a place that has 4 seasons. I live in a country that has only 1 season.

Welcome. I think these type of videos are really revealing. This uses simple straight line way points but the video is sooo good. I too like to "drive" my drone freehand. I do not use point of Interest or follow me. Rather control it myself. However way points let you shoot the same scene from the same position at different times and that is good. This video of mine shot by my controlled flight.
