Blinking Remote Ctrl Icon

Was out today flying, @ about 300 ft high and 300+ ft out the RC started blinking.
Didn't know what that means so I took the bird home manually.
There's no audible alarm or any alarm that I noticed during the whole flight cep for the blinking RC w/ full bars.
Anyone knows what this meant?
I know been discussed from other forum but nobody really nailed it.

Android 6.0.1 on Samsung J7
FW .400 RC/MP
DJI GO4

This never happened till today.

It indicates interference. Once it starts it won't stop until you land.

Mines always does this but have never had a problem yet

While the bird was already downed and probably away from that interference why the RC still blinking?
The only remedy from other forum suggested that to RTH if possible or get the bird home manually power down all and re-start.
