Just bought a Mavic Mini and it’s been crazy fun so far. I’ve just be flying over my house and being really cautious with it.

Welcome to the forums - a lot of good info here. Also, the search function (magnifying glass icon upper right) is a great way to find answers to many of the questions a "newbie" will have. We were all "newbies" at one point.

a lot of advice here to keep your new purchase flying. Hope you start thinking about Emergency Procedure, for instance
Weak control signal, what to do? A number of things you can do, Reduce distance to aircraft, Check antenna position,
Problem not solved? Return to home. What if RTH is not possible? Land on safe place. Even though you have a small drone
many have run into problems. So, good to read you the instruction of how to fly that little Guy, that is my next drone to buy.
