Hey I'm as much an adrenaline junkie as the next guy, but that bike stunt is pure stupidity. You can be skilled and balanced, but one slight error and you are over the edge. Darwin Award winner there.

It's all about risk vs reward. I have gone skydiving and have done so because I know the level of safety equipment and backup equipment that goes into a dive. After assessing that risk, I deem it acceptable enough to reap the rewards of a jump. In this case there is much less margin for error and the outcome can easily be catastrophic.
