Brightest mobile to fly with?

I have an oppo find x2 Pro and while the phone is top of the range, it's not massively bright in the day light, inwas considering a smart controller but wondered if there was a mobile I could use that's cheaper than the smart controller but that's brighter?

Sorry, can't help, but if you've got the money burning a hole in your flight bag, the Smart Controller is impossible to beat for convenience and legibility. I have a hood for my SC but rarely find need for it.

What hood do you use?

I used Galaxy s10e. Plenty bright at 803 nits max (corrected from 603). Can see in brightest sun.
