Hi,
can you tell me where to buy the FCC version (MT1SS5) FlymoreCombo of the mavic mini in the EU without paying customs fees ?

Thanks

I was waiting for someone more versed than me (doubltless not a high bar), seeing none, I'll give it a poke. (I don't own a Mini.)

Not sure where you can get the FCC version in Europe. Even if you could, from what I've read here, it will communicate with the drone at the lower EU legal power level based upon it's GPS location. To get around that, the GPS location needs to be spoofed (there's apparently app's to do that) - there was a recent thread or two 'bout all this on the forum. Seems like a dicey deal to me.

I dont like the idea of spoofing GPS but a quick google search on “android GPS spoof” or “android GPS VPN” (Because I have an android) gives me a few articles on the web and links to play.google.com so there are surely apps available to do this. I would however not encourage it.

The Mini is both FCC and CE. You can buy a European model and just switch it over to FCC.

Take a look at this:

Thanks for all the the tips.
I studied a lot the problem of the FCC automatic power switch in Europe, I don't like it either, but one system exists.
The fakeGPS is only a part, then you must observe at every take-off to connect the smartphone when the mini is already in flight and detach it before landing.

However the problem is that the cost of his is already 500-550 €, if I have to add 30% of customs duties, it is no longer worth it.

sorry KJT that is not quite correct the MM RC for the US has a different radio transmitter to the EU version, in the US the output power of the RCis higher, and that is why the US versions of the MM have a greater range ,and they only use the 5.8GHz band the EU versions have both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands but at a lower power output
