Buying a used Mavic Pro, any tips?

Hello All,

I found a used Mavic Pro local for $500. It comes with two batteries and the DJI refresh. I've got a couple of specific questions then I'd like to know if there is anything else to look for. I intend to see the drone fly but there are so many features and modes I don't want to miss something.

1. Is the DJI warranty transferable?
2. How long do the batteries last?

It's my understanding that the original factory warranty is still applicable IF you have the original bill of sale. Refresh is tied to the aircraft until it runs out. As far as the batteries, they last until they don't. Some small percentage fail quickly from defects or misuse, others may last for years if well cared-for. Cell voltages may be checked in Go4 for consistency. My advice would be, if possible, to fly it (or have it flown) and get the flight log to have a look at. Any in-flight errors or problems will most likely show up there.
