Buying new drone

Have a friend who just crashed his Mavic pro 2 and is going to buy another drone.. He is looking at the new Mavic air 2, is this a good direction to go from a Mavic pro two?

It's a downgrade, but it could make sense if he doesn't need all of the features. He can compare both models here.

Welcome pilot I dont own the MA2 I own the zoom but have heard from others on here it's a good drone for the price.It has alot of good features as the mavic pro 2 but there still different drones between the two.

welcome to the forum, biggest issue with the MA2 for me at this time ,is the fly app and all the updates that will be coming our way in the next few months,the M2P is a known quantity
