Calgary & Edmonton

Hi All,

I will be heading out to Calgary and Edmonton in the next week. I have heard strict rules and the difficulty to find a "legal" area in Calgary to fly. Anyone have any good spots in either city to go for a flight?

As the airport is in the city limits, it extends the restricted airspace. Head towards the mountains and you will have lots of area to shoot. Head to Canmore...

Edmonton has an airport to the south and north plus the hospital restricted airspace. You can look at the river valley area.

Late reply here. Priddis, millerville and spurce meadows are nice place to fly
