calibration issue.

I move stick to center position and tap start. When i move the sticks to calibrate a blue color comes on and i move the sticks to fill in between the lines. It does not stay on a line but fills in the area between the lines. Then after i calibrate a new window pops up with a semi circle and blue dot asking me to move sticks to right or left and nothing happens. What am i missing

The semi circle is the left scroll wheel not the sticks. Rotate it to the left and it will calibrate.
