California Superbloom 2019

[DarthSLR]

I went down to look at the wildflowers again, to Gorman and Antelope valley, which are about 90 minutes away from my house. I took my Mavic 2 Pro with me, so here are some captures.

Looking down

Orange and Blue

Gorman. The orange hills in the back are the Antelope, and the snow-capped peaks 50 miles away are Sierra.

Thanks for posting these. Great way to see what's going on. We are headed to Gorman. Do you think Gorman is just blooming later? Or just not a great year for the hills of Gorman.

I think Gorman is at its peak for this year, or at least 90%.

Here:

if you're coming via Hwy 138 (from I5 or I14), take 300 St W or 280 St W towards the hills (North), it's few miles off Neenach.
