IMG_0504.jpgI have a new out of the box Mavic air 2. Everything works fine except for the camera. If you were to face the drone and camera, the camera is not setting horizontally. It is about 45 degrees in a counterclockwise position. The drone has flown but never crashed. Gimble moves freely powered off (zero restrictions) so I know dirt and dust is not an issue.I have already updated the DJI fly app, and firmware. I completed the factory update, gimbal and IMU calibration and anything else I can find on the internet. The only thing I have not done is disassemble and check on the ribbon cable. That may void warranty?? It seems to fly ok if you don't mind viewing it at 45 degrees off center. I would really appreciate any input you may have. I was hoping it was a software issue, but I am not convinced. Please help if you can. Thank you.

Awsome video, fun n profitable way to spend a day. Lots of happy owners in the comments section. Sadly he didn't make one for Phantoms. Need someone to simplify that step by step directions and put it all on a flash drive, plug n play,⁰ just enter your model. I'd buy one.

Did you try a gimbal calibration? If you did and nothing changed I would put in a call to DJI.

Thanks for the info Capt KO. Is there any danger to the software if what is in the video does not go as planned? I would purchase plug and play version also.

There is no plug and play sorry watch a few times and youll get it..Your Gimbal and camera need to know where 0,0 is ....The program you will run will do that..... Basically.
It will work for you!
I just wonder how it got that way, a simple Drone Calibration fail would not cause such an out of kilter gimbal.

Exphantomflyer,
I appreciate you following up with me on this. What you have put together here seems like a game changer. I sent my MA2 back and purchased a new one, but I will definitely hang on to this in case I need it later. Do you have any issues with me forwarding your information to others? If not, I will respect that decision. I came across a few people who were having the same issues and likely could use your help.
Thank you and be well.
