Hello guys,

I was flying during the night and the drone landed 2 times very smoothly. At the 3rd round, (the bottom led was always on) the drone did not slow down while landing and hit the ground. It bounced back and then landed. Since then I have only flown once when I recorded a 16 seconds long free hyperlapse. The drone was just hoovering and taking photos. The end result is a shaky(moving a bit up and down) hyperlapse video. I did not get any error message like gimbal overloaded or something.

Here is the video. Location: Bern, Switzerland on Instagram: “#dji #mavic2pro #hyperlapse #bern #switzerland”
I got an insurence, so if you guys confirm that something is broken,I would go for replacement.
Thanks in advance!

By the way, how to land the drone in low light conditions safely?

There are two choices on how to land. Manual, meaning you are controlling what the ac does, or an auto-land feature that the ac does on its own after you tell it to do so.

Take another hyperlapse in near zero wind conditions and see if the same shakiness is present in the resulting video. This will help rule out wind gusts.

I took off again. The gimbal looks perfect, but the drone is not stable even where the wind velocity is 0. It goes up and down 0.2 meter. Eg: I lift her up to 4.5 meters. She starts hoovering, but the height keeps changing betweem 4.3 and 4.5. Is that normal? I fully recalibrated the drone before taing off.

In no wind with more than 12 Satellites locked?

You may actually need to do a cold IMU calibration.

Ever part of the manual has some info that may be of importance. Personal preference on which may be of more use.

Height stability will never be perfect. There will always be some drift by a foot or two but it's gradual. Just check some comparison videos, particularly comparing flight times where they speed up playback to conserve time. The quads move up/down and side to side.

Check that the gimble is mounted loosely in its straps, and not tucked up to the metal. Happened to mine too and thought it was permanent. Quickly fixed (once I located the problem).
