Can a Mavic Pro charger be used to charge Mavic Air batteries?

no. different charger, battery and pin arrangement

Nope, unfortunately only the Mavic Air Battery Charger can charge Mavic Air Batteries

Probably not long until some Chinesium cable comes out that adapts the Pro charger for use with the Air I would guess...
