very interesting.... your controller then wouldn't be hooked up to a phone because your phone would be in your virtual headset? is that what i understand..

There's no provision to wirelessly connect a mobile device to the RC if that's what you're asking.

You can fly with just the RC, but your height and distance will be limited.
