Can I use my Mavic Air remote to control a Mavic Pro or Mavic 2 Pro?

I crashed my Mavic Air a while back and have the remote lying around.

My friend is asking if the Mavic Air remote can be used with the Mavic Pro/2 Pro.

Anyone tried it?
