Can one controller (RC2) control two drones?

I have an Air3 and and a soon to come a Mini 5 Pro. Can one controller (RC2) be used for both drones? Not at the same time of course.

I believe you need to bind both drones to the RC then whenever you boot up the fly app you choose which drone to link

but maybe I have that wrong
