Can you buy mavic air 2 without controller?

I have the smart controller which I believe works with the mavic pro / zoom 2 and the mavic air 2.

Do they sell the mavic air 2 without the controller?

Doesn't work with the smart controller just yet, They are still working on that update.

yes you can but a I saw on a Sydney website a bare MA2 in Oz is $1295 AUD....seems expensive
