Can you record orig, hi-res media directly to the smart controller?

In addition to, or, instead of recording videos and photos to the aircraft's microSD card, can I record, while the aircraft is in flight, the exact same quality media to the microSD card in the smart controller? I am talking about the highest resolution videos, photos, raw images, etc.

You have to considere that the amount of data produced for hi-res is far more then you easily can transfer to the controler. The bandwith you have is more or less reserved for the controlsignal,

You get jpgs and 1080p or 720p videos on the SC. Only useful reason why to store those videos for me is the audio recording from SC mic, so you can leave comments and later mix it into original 4k video soundtrack.
