Sounds bogus to me.

It's not.
It's a common issue for users of Apple equipment.
It has nothing to do with the GPS receiver in the Apple device, just a problem between the Apple device and DJi's app.

I get the same thing with my HTC 10 phone and S3 tablet.

That really sounds bogus.
If you really do, you're the first Android user I've heard of having the issue.
Amazing that you get it on two different devices too.

Even with AC GPS, you can get inaccuracies by as much as 5 ft.

The minor variations in GPS accuracy are irrelevant to the topic of this thread.
