Can't connect to Air (1)

I have had my Air (1) for several years and have had good service from it.

Recently. its become a struggle to connect it to the controller and DJI Go4 app.

Today, it just won't connect. All batteries are good, the app updated just fine. I can see the Air's wifi on the computer so that seems to be in order.

Have also to add, I don't use the drone a lot now, it may have been 6 weeks since I last used it.

I do wonder whether this is built in obsolescence, trying to make me buy an up to date drone...

Any ideas...

The fact that you can see your craft's wifi on your computer strongly indicates that it's in "mobile phone controller mode" (see page 44 in the user manual), in that mode you can't connect with the remote controller.

In order order to get out of phone control mode & relink the RC read up on page 39.
