Cant record in more than 1080p without lagging

When you view your videos, are you viewing them thru the app or your computer? What SD cards are you using?

I think is a matter of PC or, more possible, the application used, unable (or wrongly set) to play the 4K video stream.
Try to use WinMP or PotPlayer, for example.

Are you using apple? IF so there is a current bug with the latest GO app 4.1.3. The go app displays device CPU errors. The video is being recorded on the SD card on the mavic perfectl, the issue is the streaming cached video on your apple device. Take the microSD card out is the mavic and check your video.

The bug in the app is causing the apple product to work at 100% which causes the app to begin to fail. Known issue, waiting in dji to fix. Search the forum lots of threads on it.

I am om a pc. I have the dji phantom 3 adv too. No problem with 2.7k video from that drone

It appears that your PC is having a hard time rendering higher resolution files.
Try matching your Mavic camera settings to the same as your P3A including frame rate. Many people that have this issue tend to stick with 1080P with a frame rate of 30 FPS. Also you should format the card in the Mavic for best results.
