It is a little too raw and breezy for much longer-range flying, so stayed in close and tried out some things. Tried out tripod mode to see if a loose shingle repair was holding. Since it was a little breezy (about 14 mph), I stayed 15 to 20 feet above the roof and used 2x zoom on my MP. Shingle is ok. Practiced RTH on signal loss by turning off the remote. On the way back, I turned on the remote to verify it would reconnect and regain control. My wife was inside watching the smart TV to see if I could cast my screen from 100 ft away outside in the yard, with an exterior wall between the rc and the TV. She met me at the door saying, "that was cool!". She not only saw the fpv, but all the icons and readings from the tablet screen. Even the "returning home" announcement came through the TV sound bar. Wish I could take the TV with me out to the fields.

That’s interesting, how were you able to connect to the TV, Bluetooth, WiFi? I have the equipment but not the no how, I’m sure there are others like me, pretty new with the drones that would also like to know??
Thanks in advance for your reply. :-)

I have an Android tablet. Android has a feature, accessed from the settings called "cast". Pull down the settings bar from the top of the screen until it shows the choice for cast. You may have to choose edit to access additional icons. It will then list devices in range able to accept a cast, such as computers and smart tvs. I think some smart TVs may need to be set through settings to accept casts. All I need to do on my tablet is to select cast, then select the living room TV from the list. Presto! The dgi go 4 screen appears on the TV.
