CE to FCC

just done a CE to FCC change faking GPS on my iPad,, question I would like to know is, if there is an update for drone or controller or the go4 app will I have to go through that all over again to get it back into FCC,, if it changes back to CE with any of the updates. or are we set for good as long as I hit cancel on app startup.

What app did you use on iOS? I didn’t think there were any the worked (although a few pretend to).

Android has a specific developer function that allows the gps to be spoofed for app development hence why it does work on android but not on iOS I think. Happy to be corrected on this point.

To answer your question - once in FCC mode a firmware update *might* swap it back - you’ll need to check each time. Otherwise yes, every time you power up it’ll tell you you’re in a different region and do you want to update WiFi settings and you just cancel this.
