Anyone have a CFixer they want to sell or recommend another product? If using something else can you explain how to use it properly? I need one to fix my Mavic Pro.

Some interesting posts here:

Couldn't find a Cfixer so I bought a tape head degausser from Amazon. Seemed to work for me!

I’m curious to know what there is to actually degause? What is there inside a DJI drone which can retain a magnetic field (the only reason to need a degausser)?

or did you slowly pull away with on?

If I recall, that's what I did. I held it over the compass area and then slowly pulled it away before unpluging it. I repeated that procedure a couple of times.

This is the one I ordered: Amazon.com: Universal HEAD DEMAGNETIZER for Cassette Tape Deck Recorder Reel to Reel 8 Track VHS Audio Video: Musical Instruments

I also used it on the Mavic Air 1 controller (around the joystick areas) and it seems to have greatly reduced the constant beeping on startup that kept happening regardless of multiple calibrations.

Maybe it is all snake oil but I swear my MA1 seems to fly much more normally now. Before I was getting a lot of weird things like uncommanded turns during decents, and those have fully resolved.

Screws? The MP has a metal bottom but not sure what kind? Metal in the electronics? Idk

In order to retain a magnetic field, metal objects (and only certain materials - generally ferrous metals) have to be exposed to a strong magnetic field for a period of time, particularly if the objects are not actually in contact with the magnet. I just can’t see how this could be happening except in very, very rare cases.

In my case I used to keep my drone on a cabinet that had a soundbar speaker on it, so possibly it was affected by that.

I think something happened in shipping. Like the box might have went through some machine that possibly magnetized it or the mailman had it next to there speaker or something idk. I have calibrated everything multiple times, changed propellers etc. the problems that i am having are the same ones that people claim cfixer fixed. So thought i’d give try.

Thank you for telling me your method and what you used!
