Change in motion while in flight

Practicing maneuvers (figure 8 specifically) and noticed that the longer I practiced the motion the pattern got wider and slower. Thought it was something I was doing (nope) and even put in a fresh, fully charged battery. Any ideas/suggestions.

How are you sure that it wasn't something you did?
That's the most likely explanation.

When it started slowing and making a wider arch i made sure I hadn’t adjusted the controls. I plan to check it out again to see if it was me!

In the RC world it is pretty much Impossible to do the Same exact stick movements Every time. If you are doing continuous 8s your fingers may be relaxing over time without you really realizing it.

It was me! Had accidentally engaged cruise control.
